COURSE DESCRIPTION
Pressed against the sunny, west-facing slopes of the Rockies, with velvety fairways and a host of riveting holes that will test every club in your bag, the golf course at Fairmont Mountainside has been satisfying guests for over 40 years. As one of the original golf courses in the valley, Mountainside has been the proud recipient of numerous accolades and awards.
Not only does this course possess a rich, in-its-prime character, it also has one of the toughest holes in the country! The par-5 "Fairmonster" a mighty three-shot beast that snakes up the hill to a small, canted green can only be tamed with a few tiger-like blows.
From the championship tee, over 620 yards away, there is no knowledge of anyone ever reaching the green in two.
After golf, enjoying a soak in the natural mineral hot pools, relaxing in your room (with a view) and dining in the fabulous Mountain Flowers Room are ideal ways to close out the day.
